A nationally recognized commercial general contractor is seeking a Lead Superintendent to support the delivery of large-scale mission critical and data center projects across the United States.
This role is ideal for a construction leader with experience managing highly technical, fast-paced projects and leading field operations from site mobilization through commissioning and turnover. Responsibilities
- Lead field operations on large-scale mission critical/data center construction projects
- Manage superintendents, subcontractors, and field personnel throughout all phases of construction
- Drive project schedules, sequencing, logistics coordination, and daily field execution
- Oversee highly coordinated MEP installations and technical project scopes
- Lead subcontractor coordination meetings, pull-planning efforts, and site logistics planning
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality control, and commissioning requirements
- Partner closely with project management teams, owners, consultants, and trade partners to proactively resolve field issues
- Support commissioning, turnover, and closeout activities within highly schedule-driven environments
- Mentor and develop assistant superintendents and field engineers
Ideal Background
- 8+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience
- Prior experience leading ground-up data center, mission critical, industrial, or highly technical construction projects
- Strong understanding of MEP-intensive construction and commissioning processes
- Experience managing aggressive project schedules and fast-track delivery environments
- Ability to lead large subcontractor teams and maintain strong field presence
- Willingness and ability to travel nationwide for projects
- Stable career progression within commercial general contracting or mission critical construction environments
