Director of Design

Project Design Management – Own and lead multiple building and campus level
designs in progress at various stages with a primary focus on the relationship with
external consultants with a strong focus on technical excellence, mission critical
resilience and cost management.
o Be the point of contact for design partners and lead all efforts including weekly
meetings, design drawing reviews, technical breakouts, and more.
o Communicate project risks to internal stakeholders and perform detailed
technical calculations/analysis to form a point of view on the design direction of
the project.
o Manage design timelines, deliverables from internal and external stakeholders,
lessons learned and refine processes / documentation accordingly.

What we’re looking for:
1. Datacenter Design Experience – Prior experience in the design of data centers
and internet infrastructure will afford innate familiarity with the civil, architectural, and
engineering drawings and permits required to bring a project to life.
