The Boston office is currently experiencing significant growth and is seeking a Healthcare Project Manager to help lead and expand its presence across New England.

 

Position Overview

This is a strategic opportunity for an experienced Healthcare Project Manager to join a growing healthcare-focused architecture team in Boston. The role will focus on leading complex renovation and modernization projects for major healthcare systems while also helping strengthen long-term client relationships and support continued growth throughout the region.

The firm currently has a strong pipeline of projects expected to start or restart throughout Q2 and Q3, including surgical renovations, imaging upgrades, behavioral health facilities, invasive cardiology projects, sterile processing departments, and workplace/lifestyle projects.

This hire will play a key role in expanding project management capacity locally and supporting additional work with some of the most recognized healthcare institutions in Massachusetts and the broader Northeast market.

Responsibilities

  • Lead healthcare projects through all phases of design and delivery, from planning through construction administration.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, scope, and overall team coordination.
  • Serve as the primary client contact and maintain strong relationships with healthcare stakeholders.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including consultants, contractors, and internal design staff.
  • Oversee construction documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and code requirements.
  • Manage projects within active and occupied healthcare environments.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative studio culture.
  • Support business development efforts and help strengthen the firm’s regional healthcare footprint.
  • Navigate Massachusetts healthcare regulatory processes, including DPH submissions and approvals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
  • Licensed Architect preferred.
  • 8+ years of architectural experience with a strong background in healthcare project management.
  • Experience managing complex healthcare renovations and phased projects.
  • Familiarity with Massachusetts healthcare codes and DPH processes.
  • Strong client management and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, Deltek, Newforma, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment and travel locally as needed.
