Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to support the development and delivery of large-scale data center facilities. In this role, you will lead electrical design efforts across new build and expansion projects, working closely with internal development teams, design consultants, and construction partners to ensure designs meet technical, operational, and schedule requirements. Core responsibilities include developing and reviewing electrical designs for medium and high voltage distribution systems, UPS, switchgear, generators, and PDUs; managing external design consultants through schematic, design development, and construction document phases; conducting design reviews to ensure adherence to owner standards; and supporting construction administration through RFI responses, submittal reviews, and site visits. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, brings 5+ years of experience in mission-critical or large commercial facility design, and has working knowledge of MV/LV distribution and backup power systems. Data center project experience is strongly preferred, as is a PE license, though EIT candidates with relevant experience will be considered. Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 70E, Uptime Institute tier standards, and ASHRAE guidelines is expected. This role requires collaboration across mechanical, structural, and civil disciplines and will involve travel to project sites.
