*
Lead and oversee the electrical design and documentation of complex building projects.
*
Perform final QA/QC reviews of electrical construction documents, ensuring accuracy, coordination, code compliance, and technical quality.
*
Develop and edit electrical specifications based on individual project requirements.
*
Work collaboratively with architects, owners, consultants, and multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Help drive consistency, efficiency, and best practices across the electrical engineering practice.
What We're Looking For
*
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas – required.
*
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
*
Approximately 5–7+ years of professional experience designing electrical systems within the MEP, architecture, engineering, or building-design industry.
*
Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, applicable codes, industry standards, and engineering best practices.
*
Proficiency in Revit.
*
Experience delivering projects within education, civic/public, and/or healthcare environments is preferred.
*
Experience coordinating electrical systems within multidisciplinary building projects.
*
Strong understanding of construction documentation and project delivery.
*
Ability to communicate effectively with architects, clients, owners, consultants, and internal project teams.
*
Comfortable taking ownership of technical decisions while operating within a collaborative environment.
*
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
The position offers considerably more than traditional electrical production responsibilities. The successful individual will have the opportunity to become an important part of a growing Texas engineering practice, with exposure to both technical and operational leadership.
You'll have the ability to influence how projects are delivered, mentor developing team members, establish best practices, and take ownership of meaningful projects serving communities throughout Texas and beyond.
The organization also places a strong emphasis on continued professional development and provides access to the resources and project diversity of a broader national platform while maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented working environment.
