A full-service engineering firm that I represent is seeking a Land Development Project Manager to join its team. They are in the unique position of being a woman-owned engineering firm offering civil and structural engineering, construction management, and technology services for exclusive project US-wide. Specializing in building, transportation, and infrastructure projects, they serve a range of clients, including government agencies and private sector partnerships. Known for delivering innovative and high-quality services, the firm has earned recognition in the form of awards including the top ENR Mid-Atlantic Design Firm of the Year.
Location: Hybrid (Dulles, VA or Baltimore, MD), with up to three days per week onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Manage land development, utility systems, roadways, and infrastructure projects for various clients.
- Oversee project setup, design, drafting, quality review, and coordination.
- Prepare and modify construction documents, reports, and design deliverables.
- Analyze project data, assist with post-design support, and respond to RFI's.
- Establish budgets and labor projections, ensuring projects meet deadlines.
- Develop and organize project plans, perform quality reviews, and consult with stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and perform business development activities.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer license in VA, MD, or DC (or ability to obtain within six months).
- Proficiency in design software (MicroStation/InRoads, AutoCAD/Civil 3D).
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, materials, and construction methods.
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
