Senior Land Acquisition Leader - Industrial Development

My client are seeking a senior leader within their Land Acquisition team to lead industrial site sourcing and deal execution in Houston. This is a senior, high-impact role for a proven dealmaker who understands the full development lifecycle from land sourcing to capitalization, leasing, and disposition.
What You'll Do
- Act as the "tip of the spear" for identifying and securing industrial land opportunities in Houston.
- Lead the early-stage deal process: source land, underwrite opportunities, and drive internal approval through the investment committee.
- Leverage your market knowledge to map viable industrial sites, understand ownership, and position deals competitively.
- Collaborate with internal teams on capitalization strategies to take projects from concept to reality.
- Provide leadership and eventually expand influence across other markets.
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record of successfully sourcing and executing industrial development deals (not just brokerage experience).
- Deep knowledge of the Houston industrial market
- Ability to take deals from land sourcing to approved development.
- Strong network of landowners, brokers, and market participants.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to "own" the market and lead from the front.
