The Client: Developer with a long-term ethos, they focus on place-making rather than making the most profit. Their head office in London but offering flexibility to work from home/site. They work some of the capitals most exciting, innovative projects in residential, commercial, retail and mixed use as well as a hugely diverse range of other consultancy tasks with Government and private bodies including Defence organisations.
Their asset portfolio includes a number of London & city centre Commercial offices, Business Parks and 2 of London's most unique retail spaces.
The Role: We are looking for someone to lead the Asset Management function and team, be responsible for the strategy and budget, someone who can own this part of the business and really make the function and the team their own. We will give you the scope to make decisions, the forum to be heard and the budget to implement, you just need to bring the intelligence, emotional connection and true team-player spirit.
We rarely dispose of assets so you will have time to implement your suggestions and the really get to know the spaces, we want you to have a say at the very top table and help us to drive the business forward. We want somebody self-confident & self-aware who can listen but also question and to fit within our team best you should be driven by a wider purpose than financial gain.
Lead a direct team of 3 with a wider team of circa 15.
The ideal candidate would have a knowledge of either the Commercial or Retail sectors and have experience of valuations although we do appreciate that if you have the right attitude your exact experience can be fine-tuned.
