As a Lead Project Manager, you will be a collaborative partner, providing innovative thinking into projects, studio, and market delivery. You will promote design research that advances market strategy and be a leading voice with clients in the region and within the firm. Your responsibilities will include acting as a client advocate, growing and developing a team of direct reports, providing project leadership and oversight, and assisting with project management by monitoring and reviewing project performance and technical quality. You will also be involved in contract negotiations and scope/fee negotiations with strategic partners.
To excel in this role, you will need professional expertise demonstrated through 15+ years of project management experience for architecture/engineering projects. Project experience in the Industrial market is preferred. You should have experience leading large and small user groups through a project design process for large projects. Working knowledge of current construction materials and methods and a variety of project delivery and contracting processes is essential. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Interior Design from an accredited college or university is required. Registered Architect, Interior Designer, or Professional Engineer is preferred. Proficiency with Deltek Vision, Bluebeam, and MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project) is also preferred.

In this role, you will design and specify project-appropriate architectural requirements, plan and develop projects under supervision, and perform Revit modeling and detailing with the team. You will participate in cross-discipline discussions, conduct site investigations, and prepare narratives, reports, drawings, and specifications. Additionally, you will assist with construction administration, marketing, and business development activities, coordinate the work of junior professionals, and attend client meetings.
To excel in this role, you will need a minimum of 3 years of experience in the AEC industry and a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited college or university. Architecture registration is required, and healthcare experience is preferred. You should maintain knowledge of current industry trends on space, function, materials, etc. Proficiency with computer software including Revit Architecture is required, while working knowledge of Sketch-Up and Adobe Creative Suite/Bluebeam is preferred. Strong time management and organization skills are essential, as well as the ability to be involved and remain current on issues relating to multiple projects in various stages. Demonstrated ability to develop awareness and begin to lead team coordination of contract documents is important. Strong graphic, verbal, and written communication skills, along with a positive attitude and commitment to being an active participant working as part of a multidisciplinary team, are crucial.
