Project Architect - Education, Civic

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a lead technical and design resource, partnering directly with clients to develop, communicate, and present architectural solutions.
• Participate in and support all phases of project delivery, from conceptual design through construction administration.
• Act as a subject-matter expert on specialized building systems, providing informed recommendations to clients and project teams.
• Develop and represent the lead technical viewpoint on projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, budgets, and schedules.
• Present design and technical strategies directly to clients, consultants, and stakeholders with confidence and clarity.
• Collaborate closely with project directors and principals to supervise and guide design and technical teams.
• Coordinate with project team leaders to identify appropriate technical solutions, materials, and product strategies.
• Ensure compliance with state building codes, local city requirements, and zoning regulations.
• Lead and contribute to BIM-based project delivery, producing high-quality construction documentation.
• Work cross-functionally with principals, senior designers, and technical leadership to successfully execute project plans.
• Build trusted relationships with clients by serving as a consistent, knowledgeable point of contact.
• Translate complex technical requirements into clear, client-friendly solutions.
• Guide clients through key project decisions, offering strategic insight and problem-solving expertise.
• Represent the firm in client meetings, presentations, and coordination efforts, reinforcing AC Martin’s commitment to excellence and collaboration.
