Electrical Engineer - Data Centers
Salary: €80,000 - €100,000

About the Role:
We are hiring on behalf of a leading data center developer who has a strong regional presence across Frankfurt, alongside a solid pipeline of projects. As an Electrical Engineer - you will be focusing on the development, coordination and supervision of electrical design and commissioning for data centers, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and sustainability requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate technical activities, project planning, feasibility evaluation, and construction supervision.
* Analyse design proposals, specifications, and manuals for feasibility, cost, and maintenance.
* Develop and implement quality, planning, and technical standards.
* Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, and efficiency regulations.
* Manage technical interfaces among project participants.
* Identify and mitigate project risks through risk registers.
* Oversee operational efficiency of installed systems.
* Support technical aspects of project tendering, scope definition, and bid reviews.
* Lead technical planning and support consultants in developing cost-effective infrastructure.
* Assist operational teams in solving technical challenges and implementing improvements.
* Prepare reports for management and engage with consultants and authorities for project compliance.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* Relevant qualification in electrical engineering.
* 5 years of experience in critical system project environments, particularly in data centers.
* Strong understanding of time, cost, and quality management.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Strong communication skills.
Desirable Experience & Skills:
* Experience working in data center development and large scale infrastructure projects.
* Familiarity with BIM, contract law, and DC engineering (systems, testing, commissioning).
* Strong knowledge of German electrical engineering regulations (DIN, VDE, DGUV).
* Fluency in German and English, with the ability to work in a technical environment.
