Harper Harrison is currently partnered with a leading mid-sized, 100% employee owned, engineering consultancy with a multistate presence.

This role is central to expanding market presence and delivering innovative infrastructure solutions in collaboration with teams across Colorado, Idaho, Texas, and New Mexico.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and guide the water and wastewater team based in Colorado, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and high standards of performance.

  • Mentor team members at all levels to support professional development, quality outcomes, and profitability.

  • Grow the service portfolio by developing specialized sub-practices and expanding client offerings.

  • Lead project teams, providing oversight and ensuring quality control on water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Colorado.

  • Optimize team operations by assigning appropriate personnel, maintaining efficient workflows, and ensuring availability of standardized contract documentation.

  • Engage in direct project involvement and leadership as needed.

  • Collaborate with senior management on matters related to growth planning, staffing needs, and financial performance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.

  • Over 20 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on water and wastewater systems.

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Colorado.

  • Proven success in business development and marketing of professional engineering services within the Colorado region, including at least five years in project and client management for municipal projects.

  • Demonstrated success in Marketing and Business Development of professional engineering services in the Colorado area, including five (5) years of successful experience in Business Development and Project Management for municipal projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams, and a strong record of delivering complex engineering projects.

  • Deep technical expertise in the design of water and wastewater infrastructure.

  • Strong ethical standards and a commitment to quality.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
