The Opportunity: The San Francisco studio is seeking a Senior Interiors Project Manager with deep experience in workplace interiors to lead complex projects from concept through completion. This role is ideal for a highly collaborative professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at managing teams and project finances, and is passionate about delivering thoughtful, high-performing interior environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for managing and directing all aspects of interior workplace projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and schedule

  • Lead and manage project teams, fostering collaboration and high performance through clear communication and direction

  • Develop and validate project scope, fees, budgets, and services during marketing and contract development

  • Serve as the primary client liaison, ensuring clear, timely communication and high client satisfaction

  • Manage projects using Deltek, including work plans, staffing, budgets, schedules, and change management

  • Coordinate closely with interior design leadership to proactively manage schedules and resources

  • Prepare strategic plans to support project success and manage risk

  • Oversee quality control, reviewing work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with firm standards

  • Understand and respond to technical and design implications throughout the project lifecycle

  • Participate in marketing efforts and support the development of long-term client relationships

  • Mentor and train staff, supporting professional growth and team development

  • Coordinate staffing resources with studio leadership and operations

  • Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline

  • 10–15+ years of experience managing workplace interior projects, including corporate office clients

  • Experience across all phases of design, documentation, programming, space planning, and FF&E

  • Strong understanding of project financial management, budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration

  • Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with project management software

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate multiple project teams

  • LEED GA required or obtained within 6 months; additional Living Design accreditation preferred

  • NCIDQ certification or architectural licensure preferred
