Senior Technical Project Architect – Healthcare
Location: Los Angeles, CA

The Opportunity: The firm is seeking a Senior Technical Project Architect to join its Los Angeles healthcare team. This role is ideal for an architect with extensive California healthcare experience, including HCAI 1/OSHPD 1 & 3 projects, and a strong track record leading large-scale, technically complex projects. The Senior Project Architect will guide projects from design through construction, ensuring technical rigor, design intent, and collaborative execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients and project teams to define objectives, explore options, and develop creative solutions

  • Translate design concepts into construction systems and detailing, maintaining design intent and quality

  • Prepare documentation and deliverables across all project phases, adhering to firm and industry standards

  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation throughout the lifecycle

  • Lead and coordinate the work of team members and consultants, providing direction, guidance, and mentoring

  • Participate in marketing initiatives, including proposals, presentations, and client interviews

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years of architectural experience, with a focus on large-scale healthcare projects

  • Mandatory experience with HCAI 1/OSHPD 1 projects in California

  • Active architectural license required

  • Proven experience leading healthcare projects in California, including client engagement and project leadership

  • Bachelor or Master of Architecture degree (B.Arch or M.Arch)

  • Fluency in Revit; LEED or other sustainability accreditation preferred

  • Strong collaboration, communication, and attention to detail

  • Integrity, professionalism, and the ability to serve as a mentor and example to others

  • Ability to travel as required by projects
