Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a cohesive, overarching marketing and communications strategy that aligns with Hanbury’s business objectives, growth priorities, and market positioning.
- Partner with firm leadership to translate strategic goals into clear priorities for the marketing and communications teams.
- Use data-driven insights, market trends, and audience intelligence to inform high-level decisions and identify new opportunities for visibility and engagement.
- Mentor and empower the firm’s Marketing and Communications teams to achieve strategic objectives.
- Champion Hanbury’s brand, ensuring its core values and identity are consistently expressed across all touchpoints.
- Ensure all external-facing materials and messaging reinforce a unified and compelling brand narrative.
- Shape key messaging priorities to elevate the firm’s reputation in target markets.
- Guide the strategic approach to positioning firm leaders as trusted experts, providing direction on visibility opportunities and messaging priorities.
Business Development Support
- Collaborate with Market Leaders and the Strategic Alliances team to develop persuasive and strategically aligned proposals and pursuit materials.
- Provide strategic oversight of the proposal process to ensure alignment with firm priorities and brand standards.
- Guide marketing staff in developing materials that effectively communicate Hanbury’s differentiators and value proposition.
Industry and Partner Engagement
- Lead the firm’s participation in key industry organizations, events, and partnerships to build influence and expand networks.
- Cultivate relationships with media, influencers, and partners to strengthen Hanbury’s presence and authority in the industry.
Internal Communications and Knowledge Management
- Ensure firmwide awareness and understanding of marketing and communications initiatives to foster internal alignment and pride in Hanbury’s brand.
- Oversee the development of accessible systems and tools that support staff with high-quality marketing content, visual assets, and branded materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in marketing and communications, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to build internal and external relationships and operate with a client service approach that aligns team priorities with client goals.
- Proven experience in marketing and communications strategy leadership, brand management, content development, and digital marketing.
- Strong ability to develop and communicate a narrative that resonates with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in overseeing the strategy related to communicating via multiple communication channels.
- Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills.
