Position Summary: The Senior Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex architectural projects. Responsibilities include guiding multiple project teams, coordinating with clients and consultants, and ensuring design quality, project budgets, and timelines are met. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and experience managing K-12 or similar civic projects.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance, feedback, and performance support

Manage multiple projects and project managers simultaneously, ensuring schedules, budgets, and contract terms are maintained

Serve as the primary client contact and coordinate with agencies, consultants, and other stakeholders

Oversee design quality and project documentation through all phases of work

Assist with proposal writing, contract negotiation, and participation in client interviews

Monitor staffing, project profitability, and resource allocation

Support construction administration and resolve any project-related challenges
Qualifications

Professional degree in Architecture or equivalent experience

Minimum 10 years’ experience in architectural project management, including production, coordination, and team leadership

Proven experience with K-12 or similar civic projects

Strong decision-making, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to oversee multiple teams and projects while maintaining quality and client satisfaction

Knowledge of sustainable design strategies, including daylighting, stormwater management, and commissioning

Experience in business development, client presentations, and professional publications a plus
