Project Manager - K-12 & Civic

Location: Napa, CA | Full-Time | Architecture & Design Sector

A nationally respected an award-winning program management and advisory firm is expanding its Northern California team. They are seeking a Project Manager to lead capital projects that shape public spaces and empower communities.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, brings strong strategic and client-focused instincts, and is passionate about seeing complex projects from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading multi-million-dollar school and public-sector construction programs
  • Advising clients as a strategic, long-term partner
  • Managing internal teams, consultants, and diverse stakeholders
  • Overseeing budgets, schedules, risk mitigation, and quality control
  • Producing compelling project documentation, reports, and recommendations
  • Mentoring junior staff and contributing to best practices in the field

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience managing capital projects in K-12 or community college settings ($25M+)
  • Prior work with school-based construction programs is required
  • DSA experience is preferred
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of construction/program management
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to be on-site 2-3 days/week
