We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic technical leader in site and civil engineering, with a strong background in land development. This position follows a hybrid schedule, requiring in-office presence three days a week at one of our East Coast locations. Candidates should be based near any of the following cities: Largo, MD; Herndon, VA; Richmond, VA; Hampton Roads, VA; Virginia Beach, VA; Baltimore, MD; or Raleigh, NC.
What you'll be doing:
* Tackle advanced engineering challenges using commonly adopted design software
* Produce high-quality project documents such as drawings, calculations, and technical reports for a variety of developments, ranging from residential and commercial to institutional and mixed-use
* Guide and support project team members through technical oversight and mentorship
* Ensure adherence to the company's quality assurance and control procedures throughout all phases of project execution
What we're looking for:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering
* Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Maryland is required; Virginia licensure is a plus
* Minimum of ten years of hands-on design experience focused on land development, particularly in Maryland
* Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven setting
* Deep knowledge of site development principles, including stormwater design, utility layout, roadway and pavement design, and grading plans
* Strong proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D software
