Harper Harrison have partnered with an industry-leading water-focused consulting firm is seeking experienced Principal Project Managers to support its expanding industrial water and wastewater practice across the United States. The organization is nationally recognized for its expertise in water solutions and is experiencing strong growth in its industrial client portfolio.
This role involves working alongside a multidisciplinary team to lead projects from concept through implementation. Successful candidates will bring a strong understanding of how water is used in industrial operations and be capable of developing client-centered, innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage industrial water and wastewater projects across a variety of sectors.
Provide strategic, systems-based problem solving that accounts for client operations, regulations, and financial goals.
Coordinate directly with clients and lead project delivery efforts with internal technical teams.
Collaborate on business development activities, including proposals, technical scopes, and cost estimation.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and mentor junior team members.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience managing industrial water or wastewater projects.
Proven track record across project phases, from planning and design to (ideally) commissioning and startup.
Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, chemical, mechanical engineering, or a related field (Master's or PhD preferred).
Sector experience in food and beverage, agriculture, specialty chemicals, high tech, pharmaceuticals, or manufacturing required. Familiarity with renewable fuels or energy transition industries is a plus.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Office location is flexible but must be U.S. Based.
