Data Center Operations Manager (Customer Interface)

We are supporting a global data-centre owner, developer, and operator with finding a Data Center Operations Manager to act as the main operational contact for key hyperscale customers. This role focuses on ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, clear communication, and a high-quality customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for customer operations teams.
- Coordinate responses to incidents, planned maintenance, and technical requests.
- Work closely with internal engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Track and report performance metrics, service levels, and operational status updates.
- Support change management, capacity planning, and project activities across sites.
What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years in data center operations or a technical customer-facing role.
- Strong understanding of critical facility infrastructure (electrical/mechanical).
- Experience managing operational escalations and communicating with customer stakeholders.
- Comfortable translating technical detail into clear updates and decisions.
- ITIL or similar operational frameworks is a plus.
