We are seeking a qualified and experienced Water/Wastewater engineer and manager with inside the fence experience to join a key client of ours in a Senior Associate position on water/wastewater infrastructure and treatment in Tampa, FL.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage projects from planning through construction, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership in wastewater and stormwater system design and analysis.
- Lead business development activities, including preparation of proposals and presentations to secure new projects.
- Mentor and supervise staff, fostering professional growth and development.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Conduct fieldwork and site visits as required, with occasional travel for regional and national projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in the wastewater field, including project management
- Proven track record in delivering projects through collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams
- Expertise in planning and conducting sewer and storm sewer investigations, planning, permitting, design, and construction management of wastewater and stormwater collection and conveyance systems
- Experience with PACP condition assessment rating
- Proficiency in MS Office-based computer software
- Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with staff, clients, and regulatory agencies
- A current PE license is required
