Harper Harrison are currently in partnership with a nationally recognized water engineering consultancy. We have successfully placed multiple industry leaders with this client that are working on first-of-their-kind projects.
We have partnered with this same client for a Senior Associate position within their Water/Wastewater Project Manager out of any of their Florida offices.
Responsibilities:
Lead or contribute to the design and development of water and wastewater treatment and conveyance systems, including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities.
Perform hydraulic evaluations, feasibility assessments, and planning studies to support infrastructure improvement initiatives.
Prepare detailed engineering reports, technical memoranda, construction drawings, and specifications in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
Provide construction-phase support services, including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and conducting site visits.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and mentor junior engineering staff.
Support or manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets for small to medium-scale engineering projects.
Assist in client engagement and business development activities, including proposal preparation, presentations, and participation in meetings with municipal and utility clients.
Maintain regular communication with internal teams, clients, and regulatory agencies to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications:
6-10 years of progressive experience in water and/or wastewater infrastructure design and project delivery.
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering (required).
Professional Engineer (PE) license (required).
Demonstrated experience in project planning, technical design, and construction support for water-related infrastructure.
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Experience with project management, particularly for small to mid-sized projects (preferred).
Familiarity with relevant software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, hydraulic modeling software (e.g., InfoWater, WaterCAD, SewerCAD) is a plus
