A leading chemical solutions company specializing in advanced water treatment technologies is seeking a full-time Laboratory Technician to join their team in the Greater Tampa Bay area. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in chemistry and hands-on laboratory experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze samples using wet chemistry techniques.
Utilize optical and electron microscopy for detailed examinations.
Conduct elemental and infrared (IR) analyses to identify deposits.
Maintain accurate records of experimental data.
Assist in the preparation of technical reports.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in calibrating and operating laboratory equipment.
Strong mathematical skills for performing basic calculations.
Excellent written communication skills with proper grammar usage.
Competency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (mandatory).
Minimum of 2 years of professional wet chemistry laboratory experience.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Willingness to undergo an in-lab evaluation at Greater Tampa Bay Facility
