Project Architect - Healthcare Architecture

A respected Southeast-based architecture and design firm is seeking a Project Architect to join its growing team in Atlanta, with a focus on healthcare and community-driven design projects.

The Atlanta team is expanding and looking for a technically skilled and design-savvy architect who thrives in a team-oriented environment and values thoughtful, human-centered design.
Role Responsibilities:
Lead the development of architectural design and documentation from concept through construction
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and clients to ensure design excellence and technical precision
Coordinate project teams, delegate tasks, and maintain drawing quality and code compliance
Participate in consultant coordination, permitting, and construction administration phases
Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment and mentor junior staff when needed
Ideal Candidate:
6-10 years of architectural experience, with a strong background in healthcare or institutional projects
Proficient in Revit and comfortable working in a BIM-integrated environment
Skilled in developing construction documents, detailing, and consultant coordination
Knowledgeable of applicable building codes, ADA, and healthcare-specific requirements
Licensed architect or on path to licensure preferred
