Senior Project Manager - Water / Waste Water
Location: Phoenix | Hybrid Work Model
Our client, a nationally recognized engineering and consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the management, delivery and leadership of high-impact water and wastewater infrastructure projects. With a strong reputation for innovation, collaboration, and sustainability, this firm has played a key role in shaping critical infrastructure for over 75 years.
We're looking for a driven leader with a passion for delivering innovative water / wastewater solutions. You'll be responsible for overseeing technical teams, managing project schedules and budgets, client relationship, business development and serving as the key point of contact for municipal clients and utility agencies.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of water / wastewater infrastructure projects including treatment facilities, pump stations, pipelines, and collection/distribution systems
- Oversee scope development, proposals, and contract negotiations
- Manage internal project teams across multiple concurrent projects
- Maintain close client relationships and ensure client satisfaction
- Provide technical guidance, design expertise and mentorship to junior engineering staff
- Ensure projects meet regulatory requirements and environmental standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, construction, and permitting teams
- Business development responsibilities, strategic planning, marketing and business operations.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering discipline
- 10+ years of relevant water resources project experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex municipal water infrastructure projects
