Your Role as Project Manager
As a healthcare Project Manager, you will:
Lead healthcare projects, including OSHPD/HCAI-regulated facilities, through all phases
Manage schedules, budgets, and teams to ensure efficient and compliant project delivery
Foster strong collaboration across interdisciplinary teams and office locations
Serve as the main point of contact for clients and consultants
Participate in business development and client relationship-building efforts
Ensure adherence to healthcare codes, OSHPD/HCAI regulations, and firm standards
Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of continuous learning
Use project management tools to maintain accurate documentation and reporting
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate brings a mix of design leadership, healthcare expertise, and regulatory knowledge. You'll need:
8+ years of architectural experience with a strong emphasis on healthcare design
Demonstrated experience with OSHPD1 and OSHPD3 projects (now HCAI)
Professional degree in Architecture and current architectural licensure
Strong knowledge of California healthcare building codes and permitting processes
Excellent project management, communication, and client engagement skills
Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and related design software
LEED GA, WELL AP, or other sustainability credentials (or ability to earn within 6 months)
A proactive, collaborative mindset and passion for creating impactful spaces
