This leadership role is ideal for a motivated professional with a background in either water/wastewater conveyance or treatment design, and a desire to build client relationships, mentor a team, and drive project success.
This is a full-time, in-office opportunity based in Atlanta, GA.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead business development efforts and establish new and existing client relationships within the municipal water/wastewater sector
Manage engineering design and delivery of projects such as pump stations, transmission mains, distribution/collection systems, and/or water/wastewater treatment plants
Guide project strategy, quality, scheduling, and budgeting across a range of public infrastructure efforts
Build and mentor a team of engineers and designers to support practice growth and technical excellence
Collaborate with internal multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders including municipalities, utilities, and regulatory agencies
Oversee proposals, contract negotiations, and project execution
Act as a trusted advisor and project lead on high-impact infrastructure initiatives throughout the Southeast
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering field
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Georgia
12+ years of experience in the water/wastewater industry with a focus in either conveyance systems (pipelines, pump stations, etc.) or treatment systems (WTPs/WWTPs)
Proven ability to lead projects, manage client relationships, and generate new business
- $1 million(+) in personal revenue generation from business development in the Georgia markets
Strong leadership skills and experience mentoring engineering teams
Excellent communication, proposal writing, and organizational skills
Entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for building a water-focused practice in the Atlanta market
