A California-based architecture, planning, interior architecture, and research firm founded in 1906 is at the beginning stages of a massive growth period for their Bay Area office and are currently looking for a Project Managerwith experience in Multifamily Residential, K-12, Higher, Education, and/or Civic work to join this growing team. Those joining now will have the opportunity to get their foot in the door for further growth opportunities which can include leadership and business development.

Project Manager - Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage large-scale multifamily and multi-unit residential projects from planning through completion, ensuring design intent, quality, and schedule are maintained.
  • Coordinate all project efforts (administrative and technical) to deliver projects efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Serve as a primary client liaison, maintaining strong relationships while ensuring projects meet expectations for schedule, scope, and budget.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously (typically 2–3), managing timelines, resources, and team coordination.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and documentation, ensuring accurate reporting and alignment with client and firm standards.
  • Lead project teams, collaborating with principals, project directors, designers, and architects to deliver high-quality work.
  • Prepare and manage proposals, project scopes, fee estimates, contracts, and change orders, with oversight from the Project Principal in Charge (PIC).
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Utilize BIM, Deltek, and other project management tools to support project administration and construction documentation.
  • Support project delivery through technical oversight, team leadership, and mentorship, ensuring projects progress smoothly through all phases.
  • Contribute to projects in related sectors such as K-12, civic, or other compatible markets, when aligned with firm workload and expertise.
