This is a unique opportunity to join an entrepreneurial team responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing data center development opportunities across North America. Rather than managing deals through closing, you'll focus on the front end of the acquisition process, assessing opportunities, cultivating broker relationships, navigating competitive acquisition processes, and progressing transactions through Letter of Intent.
The Role
You'll be responsible for:
* Evaluating land and development opportunities for data center viability
* Building and maintaining relationships with brokers, landowners, developers, and key market participants
* Leading competitive acquisition and auction processes through LOI
* Assessing key site fundamentals, including power, fiber, zoning, and market dynamics
* Providing market intelligence and supporting investment recommendations
* Working closely with Capital Markets, Legal, and Development teams to ensure a seamless transition once deals are under LOI
* Travelling to target markets for broker meetings, site visits, and industry events

This is a unique opportunity to join a well-capitalised platform at a critical stage of growth, supporting the delivery of a large-scale development pipeline across North America.
Unlike traditional procurement leadership positions, this role sits at the intersection of procurement, construction, and project delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing procurement strategies that support schedule certainty, mitigate supply chain risk, and ensure the successful delivery of major capital equipment across multiple hyperscale data center projects.
Responsibilities * Lead procurement strategy for major capital equipment including electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
* Manage procurement activities for long-lead mission critical equipment such as switchgear, generators, UPS systems, cooling infrastructure, and related systems.
* Develop project-specific procurement strategies aligned with construction schedules, delivery milestones, and project requirements.
* Lead commercial negotiations with OEMs, manufacturers, distributors, and strategic suppliers.
