Seeking a Design Principal to lead the business development and design process from concept to completion, ensuring precision, excellence and alignment with our client’s strategic vision in creating structures that shape our future.
As part of our Principal Leadership team, this role contributes significantly to the firms history of designing award-winning, multi-phased academic; healthcare; civic and cultural; energy and infrastructure; science and workplace projects. You will be responsible for executing on our business plan and driving the Firm’s direction.
This position will develop all aspects of the project with extensive client, construction management and contractor interaction, in collaboration with our Architectural, Interiors, and Engineering Studio Leads.
The successful candidate will possess superb relationship building, negotiation, analysis, communication and mentoring skills, having an appreciation for design excellence in a rigorous design environment. Experience in administering technical drawings and specifications to ensure that their construction conforms to drawings, specifications, codes, standards, and client requirements is essential.
Organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills are of the utmost importance along with strong professional judgment and discretion.
