Senior Designer/Project Architect – Workplace & Corporate Interiors

The Opportunity: The firm is seeking a Senior Designer/Project Architect to support the delivery of complex workplace and corporate interiors projects in New York City. This role is ideal for an architect who enjoys being deeply involved in project execution, collaborating closely with clients and internal teams, and contributing to both design quality and project delivery. The Project Architect will play a key role across all phases of work, from early planning through construction administration.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Technical Leadership

Support the planning, coordination, and execution of workplace and corporate interiors projects

Contribute to all phases of the project lifecycle, including programming, design development, documentation, and construction administration

Produce and coordinate architectural drawings and documentation with a high level of technical accuracy

Review drawings and specifications for quality, code compliance, and constructability

Participate in site visits and coordinate with contractors and consultants during construction
Client & Team Collaboration

Work closely with Project Managers and senior leadership to support client communication and project goals

Collaborate with consultants and internal teams to ensure seamless project coordination

Contribute to a collaborative studio culture through clear communication and teamwork
Mentorship & Studio Support

Assist in mentoring junior staff, supporting design intent and technical development

Uphold firm-wide standards for documentation, QA/QC, and project delivery
Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design

5–8+ years of professional experience with a strong focus on workplace and corporate interiors

Experience delivering multi-floor or large-scale workplace projects in NYC or comparable markets

Strong technical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and industry-standard design tools

Working knowledge of NYC building codes, permitting, and construction processes

Architectural license or progress toward licensure preferred; NCIDQ a plus
