  • Senior leadership opportunity overseeing and growing a regional architecture practice, with responsibility for both business performance and people leadership.
  • Leads architecture teams across multiple office locations, providing mentorship, accountability, career development, and succession planning.
  • Responsible for operational and financial management, including P&L oversight, utilization, staffing forecasts, budgeting, revenue generation, and profitability.
  • Serves as a true "seller-doer" leader, balancing business development, client engagement, project oversight, and staff management responsibilities.
  • Expected to actively participate in business development efforts through client relationship management, networking, industry involvement, proposals, presentations, and strategic pursuits.
  • Provides executive oversight of project delivery, ensuring quality control, risk management, schedule adherence, budget performance, and technical excellence.
  • Collaborates closely with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams on complex projects across multiple market sectors.
  • Seeks a versatile architectural leader with broad market exposure rather than deep specialization in a single project type.
  • Experience working on large, complex projects and coordinating with diverse stakeholders is highly valued.
  • Transportation, aviation, transit, federal, infrastructure, higher education, healthcare, mission-critical, or other complex institutional project experience is beneficial, though candidates from commercial and life sciences backgrounds will also be considered.
  • Proven experience managing teams, direct reports, and technical staff is required; candidates should have a demonstrated track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Requires strong business acumen and an understanding that architecture is both a design profession and a business operation.
  • Licensed Architect required, with approximately 10–15+ years of progressive architectural leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Hybrid work environment with regular in-office leadership presence expected, along with occasional regional travel and participation in industry events and client meetings.
