Your Role: Design Leader + Market Builder
As a Market Leader, you will balance hands-on leadership of high-profile projects with a proactive focus on business development. You'll collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to shape strategy, secure new work, and drive sustainable growth.
Client + Team Leadership (40%)
Lead large, complex design projects with a focus on quality, innovation, and client satisfaction
Act as a strategic advisor to clients, aligning project outcomes with business goals
Inspire and mentor high-performing teams, fostering growth and cross-functional collaboration
Ensure alignment between project delivery and broader market sector goals
Market Growth Strategy (60%)
Identify and pursue new project opportunities in alignment with regional growth goals
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry leaders
Lead proposal development, interviews, and competitive project pursuits
Represent the firm at industry events, networking forums, and within professional organizations
Collaborate with firm leadership to shape and implement business development plans
Develop and execute annual goals for marketing, business development, and budget strategy

What You Bring
You are a strategic, collaborative leader with deep roots in the AEC industry and a passion for driving impact. Your qualifications include:
Professional degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline
Current professional license (Architect or Interior Designer)
15-20+ years of relevant experience in the architecture and design industry
Proven experience managing large-scale, complex projects
Strong business development track record, including securing new work and client retention
Established network of regional client and industry relationships
Excellent presentation, communication, and team leadership skills
Compensation Range: $130,000 - $220,000 annually (national range, based on experience and location)
