A leading national engineering and environmental firm is seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Manager to join its Industrial Water Practice. This remote position offers the opportunity to lead innovative water and wastewater projects across the U.S., focusing on industrial and commercial clients.
What You'll Do:
Lead the technical design and delivery of complex industrial water and wastewater treatment projects, including system upgrades, new designs, and water reuse initiatives.
Conduct capacity assessments, alternatives evaluations, and develop basis of design documents.
Oversee bench and pilot-scale testing to inform treatment strategies.
Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering technical excellence and innovation.
Cultivate and maintain client relationships, contributing to business development and repeat engagements.
Participate in proposal preparation and pursuit of new project opportunities.
Contribute to the development and management of large accounts.
Engage in national and regional technical publications and presentations, and serve in leadership roles within professional organizations.
Conduct research to implement new and improved methods for project execution.
Develop tools to demonstrate technical leadership and ensure the quality of deliverables.
Provide input into business planning processes.
Requirements:
12+ years of professional experience in engineering consulting.
Proven expertise in industrial water and wastewater system design and delivery.
Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop client-advisor relationships.
Demonstrated ability to contribute to business development and account management.
Willingness to travel up to 25% within the continental U.S.
