Harper Harrison is seeking a Technical Sales and Applications Specialist to join our growing team in the water treatment industry. This is a remote position based in the United States, with occasional travel to customer sites.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in membrane systems and water treatment who thrives in customer-facing roles and enjoys driving technical solutions and sales support.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for membrane treatment systems and related chemistries.
Serve as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring satisfaction through expert technical guidance and product recommendations.
Manage a portfolio of accounts, drive growth, and identify new sales opportunities.
Develop application reports, treatment programs, and monitoring plans.
Collaborate with the internal team to support product development and innovation.
Conduct field service work including system audits, cleanings, chemical optimization, and performance evaluations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience in technical sales or applications engineering, preferably in the water treatment or membrane systems sector.
Strong knowledge of reverse osmosis (RO), nanofiltration (NF), ultrafiltration (UF), and related technologies.
Demonstrated ability to diagnose system issues and develop effective treatment solutions.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Willingness to travel domestically up to 30%.
