A nationally recognized architecture and design firm is seeking a Medical Planner to join their high-performing Healthcare Studio in New York.
This team partners with some of the most prominent health systems in the region on a wide range of impactful projects such as campus master plans, hospital renovations, and next-generation ambulatory facilities. With a collaborative environment and access to cross-sector expertise in science & technology and education design, this role offers an exciting platform for professional growth.
In This Role, You Will:
Support the planning and design of complex healthcare projects across all phases of development
Develop programming, space planning, and functional layouts in collaboration with senior planners and design teams
Conduct user group meetings and translate clinical needs into design solutions
Research codes, guidelines, and best practices to support design excellence and compliance
Collaborate closely with project architects and consultants to ensure cohesive project delivery
What We're Looking For:
5-10 years of experience in healthcare planning or healthcare-focused architecture
Strong understanding of clinical environments and healthcare operations
Experience working on a range of healthcare projects (inpatient, outpatient, academic medical, etc.)
Ability to translate complex user needs into effective spatial solutions
Architecture license or working toward licensure preferred
