Medical Planner
Location: Open to any U.S. office (Boston, Columbus, Los Angeles, New York, Portland, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington, D.C.)
A nationally recognized design firm with a long-standing reputation in healthcare design is seeking a Medical Planner to join their multidisciplinary team.
This firm is at the forefront of creating transformative healthcare environments, including academic medical centers and outpatient care models that prioritize user needs, clinical outcomes, and innovation. With support from in-house experts in research, digital health, and experience design, you'll have the tools and mentorship to grow into a strategic planning role.
Responsibilities:
Develop space programs and conceptual planning for a variety of healthcare project types
Participate in user group meetings, documenting clinical workflows and translating them into spatial solutions
Collaborate closely with architects, designers, and consultants to deliver coordinated design solutions
Contribute to project documentation, presentations, and internal planning discussions
Qualifications:
5-8 years of experience in healthcare planning or healthcare architecture
Familiarity with healthcare design standards, codes, and clinical processes
Ability to think analytically and communicate complex ideas clearly
Strong team orientation and interest in mentorship and growth
