Lead Medical Planner
Location: Open to any U.S. office (Boston, Columbus, Los Angeles, New York, Portland, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington, D.C.)
A leading architecture and design practice-known nationally for redefining healthcare environments-is seeking a Lead Medical Planner to join their healthcare leadership team.
This role is ideal for an accomplished planner with a national perspective and a passion for mentoring others. You'll guide health systems through transformative initiatives while shaping planning strategies across studios and regions. With direct access to firmwide research, digital innovation, and design thinking resources, you'll have the platform to deliver at the highest level.
Responsibilities:
Lead strategic planning efforts for large-scale healthcare systems, academic medical centers, and regional care networks
Serve as a firmwide leader in planning best practices, clinical innovation, and team development
Mentor and collaborate with planners and designers across offices
Provide thought leadership through client workshops, industry engagement, and internal initiatives
Qualifications:
12+ years of healthcare planning experience with demonstrated leadership in project and client delivery
Expertise in clinical operations, workflow optimization, and spatial programming
Ability to lead cross-office teams and influence strategy at a national level
Strong presence in front of clients and executive stakeholders
