Healthcare Project Architect - Dallas - Hybrid 

 

Our client is a nationally recognized integrated design and construction firm and is seeking an experienced Project Architect (Healthcare) to join its Dallas office.

This role is ideal for a technically strong, detail-oriented architect with proven expertise in healthcare design and documentation. The position offers the opportunity to lead project teams through all technical phases, from design development to construction, while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-performance, patient-centered environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate the technical execution of complex healthcare projects from concept through completion.

  • Lead project documentation, Revit modeling, quality control, and consultant coordination.

  • Collaborate with project managers to establish schedules, budgets, and staffing plans.

  • Ensure technical excellence through system selection, detailing, and quality assurance reviews.

  • Apply zoning, building, life safety, accessibility, and energy codes to project design and documentation.

  • Partner with construction teams to understand cost estimates, sequencing, and constructability.

  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and continuing education.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited program.

  • 8+ years of professional experience in architecture, preferably with healthcare project experience.

  • Active architectural registration required.

  • Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam.

  • Strong understanding of building systems, technical detailing, and construction administration.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a collaborative mindset.
