About the Role: The National Healthcare Market Leader will serve as the firm’s strategic and creative voice in the healthcare sector — uniting business development, design leadership, and client engagement to grow revenue, elevate the brand, and strengthen cross-office collaboration.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a strategic vision for the healthcare market across multiple offices

Cultivate high-level relationships with health systems, institutions, and strategic partners

Lead market growth initiatives to expand client base and increase revenue

Serve as a trusted subject matter expert, representing the firm at conferences and industry events

Partner with studio and office leaders to align business development, design, and delivery

Support proposal development, interviews, and contract negotiations

Identify emerging market trends and translate insights into actionable strategies

Mentor and develop healthcare design teams across offices

Track performance metrics including revenue growth, client retention, and win rate
What You Bring

Licensed Architect (required)

10+ years of experience in healthcare architecture or planning

Demonstrated success in business development and client leadership

Strong understanding of healthcare delivery models, design trends, and regulatory environments

Exceptional strategic planning, communication, and presentation skills

Ability to collaborate effectively across studios and disciplines

Willingness to travel (approximately 30–40%)
