We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join an international EPC organisation involved in large-scale infrastructure, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology projects. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, coordination, and execution of complex electrical systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and project requirements.

Design & Documentation:
Develop single-line diagrams, technical specifications, load lists, distribution layouts, substation sections, and tender documents for medium- and low-voltage electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards. -
Tender & Procurement Support:
Prepare tender documents, analyze and evaluate technical offers, and participate in supplier and contractor negotiations. -
Project Engineering:
Prepare material take-offs (MTO) and full design documentation, including feasibility studies, concept design, basic design, and detailed design phases. -
Coordination & Collaboration:
Attend and contribute to design progress and coordination meetings. Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure technical specifications and project objectives are met. -
Project Management:
Oversee external planning partners and support project scheduling, budgeting, and progress monitoring throughout all project phases. -
Construction Supervision:
Supervise installation activities on-site to ensure all electrical systems are implemented according to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
We are looking for:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline

Several years of experience in the design and planning of complex electrical systems, ideally within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or industrial infrastructure environments

Comprehensive understanding of current regulations, norms, and standards related to electrical systems

Proficiency in CAD software and MS Office

Excellent communication skills in English; German language skills are an advantage

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and proactive mindset

Willingness to travel and work in multidisciplinary, international project teams
