Senior / Project Manager – Jacksonville


 

A leading civil and environmental consultancy is seeking a Senior / Project Manager to join their growing Florida operations. This opportunity offers a mix of technical leadership, project management, and business development responsibility across both public and private sector projects.

You will join a collaborative and well-established multidisciplinary team delivering civil engineering services for municipal infrastructure, transportation, and private development clients. The role offers genuine progression into leadership, with flexibility for hybrid or remote working and a potential sign-on or relocation bonus.


 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead civil design projects across public and private sectors, including municipal, commercial, and residential developments.
  • Oversee site/civil design including layout, grading, drainage, utilities, erosion and sediment control.
  • Manage stormwater systems, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, and SWPPP preparation.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and technical quality.
  • Oversee multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and provide strategic input into project and business planning.
  • Contribute to proposals, RFQs/RFPs, and client presentations.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering (or related field).
  • 10+ years of civil engineering experience with proven project management capability.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licence (active or ability to obtain reciprocity in FL).
  • Demonstrated success managing civil design and land development projects for municipal and private clients.
  • Strong technical expertise in stormwater, grading, and drainage design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D preferred.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
