We are partnering with them to identify a Healthcare Electrical Leader to join their senior healthcare leadership group in California. This is a high-impact, executive-level opportunity for a licensed electrical engineering leader with deep healthcare expertise and a proven track record of technical excellence, client engagement, and team leadership.
The successful candidate will serve as a senior technical and market-facing leader, responsible for leading complex healthcare electrical design projects while partnering closely with regional leadership to grow client relationships, expand market presence, and elevate the firm’s healthcare electrical practice across California.

Executive Responsibilities
-
Lead electrical design for large-scale healthcare and hospital projects across California, including projects under HCAI jurisdiction.

Serve as Engineer of Record or Alternate Engineer of Record on complex healthcare facilities.

Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary project teams, coordinating closely with internal partners and external consultants.

Manage long-term, complex projects with accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and quality.

Foster a culture of innovation, technical excellence, trust, and mentorship within the electrical engineering team.

Integrate sustainable, low-carbon, and resilient design strategies into healthcare electrical systems.

Act as a senior client interface, responsible for developing, maintaining, and expanding relationships with healthcare owners and stakeholders.

Partner with senior management to procure new healthcare work and drive repeat business across the West Coast.

Mentor and develop engineers at all levels, building depth and succession within the healthcare electrical practice.

Represent the firm through industry leadership, professional organizations, and thought leadership initiatives.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering; advanced degree a plus.

12+ years of progressive experience in electrical engineering and project leadership within the California healthcare market.

Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of California.

Demonstrated experience leading healthcare projects as a Project Manager, Project Director, or Discipline Leader.

Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting business development and client growth.

Proven ability to build and sustain long-term relationships with healthcare clients.
