PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Collaborate with senior executives to align design initiatives with company goals
- Generate and maintain Owner’s Project Requirements through the development of comprehensive project requirements in collaboration with stakeholders to guide the design process.
- Create and publish a Basis of Design for each project to establish the foundational design parameters and ensure they align with the OPR and project goals.
- Oversee teams of consultants through the entire design process for each project, from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in data center design standards and practices.
- Monitor and ensure all designs adhere to company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with various stakeholders, including operations and physical security teams, to ensure their needs and requirements are integrated into the design.
- Identify and implement design improvements to enhance the reliability, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability of our data centers.
- Stay abreast of industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments.
- Evaluate new technologies.
- Develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
