A nationally recognized, fully integrated design-build firm is seeking a Regional Practice Leader – Mixed-Use to drive growth, elevate design, and lead complex projects across a dynamic and expanding portfolio.

The Role
The Regional Practice Leader will be responsible for growing and leading the mixed-use practice across the region—driving strategy, winning work, and ensuring successful project delivery.
This is a highly visible leadership role that blends:
- Business development
- Client engagement
- Design and project oversight
- Team leadership
You will act as a market-facing leader, building relationships with developers, investors, and institutional clients, while guiding internal teams to deliver high-quality, integrated design-build solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Practice Leadership & Growth
- Develop and execute a regional growth strategy for the mixed-use sector
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with developers and key clients
- Position the firm as a market leader in mixed-use design-build delivery
Client Development
- Build and maintain relationships with developers, owners, and key stakeholders
- Lead pursuit strategies, including RFPs, RFQs, and client interviews
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients from early concept through delivery
Project Oversight
- Provide leadership and oversight across mixed-use projects (residential, hospitality, retail, office, etc.)
- Ensure alignment between design intent, budget, and construction execution
- Collaborate closely with integrated design and construction teams
Team Leadership
- Mentor and develop teams across architecture and project delivery
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture
- Help build and scale the team as the practice grows
What We’re Looking For
- 15+ years of experience in architecture, development, or design-build environments
- Proven experience leading mixed-use projects (urban, large-scale, complex developments)
- Strong business development and client relationship skills
- Experience leading or contributing to RFP/RFQ pursuits and interviews
- Ability to operate at both a strategic and project level
- Background in integrated design-build delivery is highly preferred
- Licensed Architect or equivalent leadership experience is a plus
