Healthcare Project Manager

Location: Coral Gables, FL | Full-Time | Architecture & Design Sector

A nationally recognized architecture and design firm with a strong commitment to human-centered and sustainable design is seeking a Healthcare Project Manager to join its South Florida studio. The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare architecture, a proven ability to manage complex projects from concept through completion, and a collaborative leadership style that inspires high team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead multi-disciplinary project teams through all phases of design and delivery
  • Oversee project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure efficient execution and quality outcomes
  • Facilitate project planning and proposals, including development of scope, fees, and services during marketing and contract phases
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment and clarity at every stage
  • Use Deltek (or equivalent systems) to manage project schedules, resources, documentation, and change notices
  • Host regular team meetings and provide timely project updates, memos, and minutes to support coordination
  • Drive and support marketing efforts and help develop strong, ongoing client relationships
  • Review deliverables for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with firm standards
  • Coordinate with the Operations Director on staffing and resource needs
  • Mentor junior architects and designers, supporting their professional growth and development

Qualifications:

  • Professional degree in Architecture (required)
  • Licensed Architect (required)
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience, including healthcare project work
  • LEED GA (required within 6 months of hire)
  • Additional accreditation in sustainable or performance-based design (LEED AP, WELL AP, etc.) preferred
  • High proficiency in Revit, Adobe Suite, MS Office; experience with Deltek preferred
  • Strong knowledge of codes, construction documents, and project delivery processes
  • A positive, collaborative approach to leadership and client engagement
