An established engineering firm is seeking a highly experienced professional with 10+ years in the water and/or wastewater treatment to join their team as a Senior Associate. This role is ideal for candidates with strong backgrounds in engineering, project management, and business development within the municipal water infrastructure space.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multidisciplinary projects from planning through construction
Provide technical leadership on water and wastewater infrastructure projects
Mentor and supervise junior staff across engineering disciplines
Drive business development initiatives, including proposal writing and client presentations
Conduct occasional fieldwork and site visits as needed throughout project lifecycles
Minimum Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant experience in the water/wastewater industry
Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-year projects in collaborative environments
Strong expertise in planning, design, and construction of treatment facilities, pump stations, and conveyance systems
Demonstrated experience leading proposal efforts and business development for similar project types
Exceptional communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong leadership capabilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in environmental, civil, mechanical, agricultural, or chemical engineering (Master's preferred)
