Water/Wastewater Engineer

we are currently partnered on a new search for one of the best engineering consultancy's in the U.S. They are seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join their Water/Wastewater and Utilities team in their Atlanta office. This is a full-time, in-office position with unmatched progression opportunities and earning potential

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and planning of water and wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines, pump stations, treatment systems, and utility master plans

• Oversee project tasks such as design development, permitting, and construction coordination

• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff

• Collaborate with internal multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes

• Ensure quality control through preparation and review of design documents and plan sets

• Develop and manage project work plans and budgets in alignment with client expectations

• Represent the team in meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and municipal authorities

• Monitor project progress, timelines, and financial performance

• Foster professional relationships within the firm and with external partners

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in civil or municipal engineering with a water/wastewater focus

• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) or ability to obtain within 12 months

• Proficient in designing treatment facilities, pump stations, and distribution/collection systems

• Experience with hydraulic modeling tools such as WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, or InfoWater
