Project Manager - Healthcare

A leading Southeastern architecture and design firm is seeking a Healthcare Project Manager to join its expanding Charleston studio. Key Responsibilities
Manage all phases of healthcare projects from concept through construction completion.
Coordinate internal teams and external consultants to ensure successful project execution.
Lead project planning, fee proposals, work scopes, and scheduling.
Support business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations.
Represent the firm at healthcare-related industry events and within professional organizations.
Ensure design and construction meet regulatory, code, sustainability, and aesthetic standards.
Oversee construction administration, including RFIs, site observations, and submittals.
Guide junior team members and contribute to a collaborative studio culture.
Track budgets, timelines, and client communications to maintain project alignment.
Required Qualifications
Professional degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited program.
10+ years of architecture or design experience, including significant healthcare project experience.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office tools.
In-depth understanding of building technology, healthcare codes, and industry trends.
Demonstrated ability to manage teams, budgets, and schedules.
Comfortable engaging with clients and participating in business development.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Architecture.
Registered Architect.
Familiarity with Newforma Project Center, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
LEED, WELL, or other sustainability certifications.
Experience writing and editing architectural specifications.
